A Windy Day

Hey Guys!

Sorry for the late post. I have been working on other projects. I wanted to share a quick funny story about this shoot. I designed this fun flirty sundress that would be perfect for any spring/summer outings like a cookout, Sunday brunch, or a fun night out on the town. Since my mood for this month is 50’s glam, I wanted to style this dress with a retro feel and shoot at a location that represented that. Well, when I got there I encountered brutal winds that would not give way. Now, it was too late for me to find a different spot, I managed to stick it out.  The wind was so bad that it blew my hair out-of-place, blew my dress up and all over the place. I felt like Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex In The City episode when the wind blew her dress and then it rained on her. Don’t you hate it when you put on a great outfit from head to toe and when you step outside, the weather just messes it up?? Anyway down below are the photos I managed to snap, I also included some candids of what I was dealing with.

All I can do is laugh. Enjoy the rest of the week.

    nice dress… and photos!
I must say that I have absolute jealousy that you are so beautifully the same size and nice shape as your dress form mannequin :-). You look great in your creations!

Lol Thank you for your lovely compliment. No need to be jealous I’m lucky to be nauturally thin to help me create my designs but I know one day that might change and will need a model. Thanks for reading!

Thanks so much. Yea I agree with you too. I have a good eye when it comes to picking out florals. I like to look for ones that are special and not out there.

      Thanks for reading!
